About the Curator

Jurcone Ramiro is a retired software engineer based in Deva, Romania.

Graduated from the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science, Politehnica University of Timișoara, Romania, in 1985.

Professional IT career spanning 1985-2022, beginning with assembly language programming for industrial process control at Hunedoara Steel Complex and concluding with C programming for public administration at Hunedoara Tribunal. Retired in 2022, continuing active software development.

Technical experience encompasses operating systems from the pre-Windows/Linux era (1985) through modern platforms including Linux, NetBSD, macOS, Android, and Termux. Programming experience spans multiple languages with particular expertise in systems programming, embedded development, and cross-platform solutions.

Provided mathematics and computer science tutoring for 25 years, working with hundreds of students, many of whom pursued careers in engineering and technical fields.
